Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria set by SHSB to submit form for these 1075 Vacancies is given below – Check all eligibility points to submit form:
- For Laboratory Technician: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects + Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT).
- For Senior Laboratory Technician: Applicants need Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Medical Microbiology, Applied Microbiology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry, with or without DMLT.

The selection process for SHS Bihar Lab Technician 2025 is given below:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): The CBT will consist of 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which covers subjects like Numerical Ability, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Technical Subjects (e.g., Biochemistry, Hematology). The exam will be bilingual (Hindi and English) – with a duration of 75 minutes.
- Merit List Formation: The SHSB will Make final merit list based on CBT scores (80% weightage) and work experience (20% weightage) for these 1075 Lab Technician Vacancies.
